Every February, I take a break from publishing on my Tower of Adam SubStack. And this year is no exception.
My last series on ‘What is a Human?’ has been the toughest series I’ve ever written. I could redo this again and write a 7-part series on the Spirit alone. There was so much I missed out and places where I could have gone much deeper. So, I’m glad of the break, to be honest.
Last year, a good friend decided to pledge some money to support this SubStack. I was unsure whether I should accept it, but he wanted to say thank you for all my hard work.
I toyed with how I could provide value for money, and so I started to write some articles with a pay wall. This is where I could talk about more sensitive issues around the topic of the post.
In the UK, Section 127 Communications Act 2003 provides that it is an offence to send a message (publish an article) that is grossly offensive. In all my writings, I have always tried not to be ‘grossly offensive’, but you never know who might be reading my free material and become deeply offended by it (well enough to contact the authorities ). So the paywall offers some protection, and an avenue for me to speak more freely without upsetting people. If you’d like to become a paid subscriber and read beyond the paywall, feel free to you can upgrade.
The New Book
I will begin publishing a new book in March. It will be available on SubStack and I will publish a chapter every 3 or so weeks. It will be called Unpacking the Creation Narratives.
It will be only for Paid Subscribers, but I plan to sell the physical book on Amazon once it’s completed. Every paid subscriber will get a free copy, either digital or physical (their choice).
The book will look at over 30 verses which relate to Creation in the Bible. I will start at the Book of Revelation and go back to Genesis. This is an important project. For example, if we think the only Biblical Creation narrative is Genesis 1 and 2, then we can’t prove physical Creation was made from the non-physical. We know this because of a verse in Hebrews.
Hebrews 11 v 3
By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.
The New Term
After the February pause, I’ll be discussing Jesus in the Old Testament, Queen Jezebel (this will have a paywall, as I will be discussing the feminine archetype) and finishing up the term with a series looking at the most important books in the Apocrypha.
On my Agloria SubStack, I will begin a long series on Full Strength Christianity. This will look at aspects of the Modern Church which probably needs to be challenged. I will discuss communion of the saints, miracles, joy and theosis.
I will continue writing my Adam and Eve stories and Jesus Fables (what if Jesus told Aesop’s fables, but like a parable).
I will continue the King Alfred series on my Tales of Old England Christendom SubStack. As well as publishing the lives of the Anglo-Saxon saints.
YouTube Channel
I plan to start recording long form videos on Hebrew Astronomy, and discuss the astronomical data within Genesis 5 and 11. I’ll be posting these up on my YouTube channel shortly. You can read all my articles on this topic on my Agloria SubStack.
And thank you for subscribing, whether Paid or Free. I appreciate you all. I wouldn’t have reached over 1,000 subscribers, on all my SubStack newsletters, without you.
Thank you
Alexander
Blessings on your break, and may the Holy Spirit's inspiration give you much joy!
Cheers, Alex!
