Catholics do have Wisdom actually - unless you're referring to something else!

Though this may be an aside, I have found great benefit in watching the YouTube videos of ‘Expedition Bible’ and would highly recommend. The biblical archeologist Joel Kramer has dedicated himself to the hard evidence that supports appreciation of the biblical texts and explains so much of what one can miss in our modern interpretation. From evidence that the line of David DIDN’T die out, to the sheer enjoyment of watching sheep obediently following their shepherd….not something I appreciated when regarding UK sheep!

Yes. It’s a well produced channel. Just be aware he does sometimes rely on slightly suspect archeology, but even so it’s very enjoyable.

I really look forward to this. As a life long Irish Franciscan Catholic, I too was to avoid such 'heresy' not knowing until recently that indeed these books contain a context of time era and reflections by many who truly believed in the Son of God.

"There is an air of mystery over the apocryphal books."

Likely owing to the fact that far fewer have read them than speak of them.
