To add, I also heard an Orthodox Saint say that the kingdom of heaven is where the Father's will is done.

"Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on Earth as it is in heaven."

This is the best answer I have seen to the question--and AGAIN with the angels of/for places. Extraordinary.

Would you say the Kingdom of Heaven is the same as Christendom, or is Christendom the earthly component? When you die you leave christendom but remain in the kingdom of heaven?

The kingdom of heaven can be expanded through evangelism--if all peoples were united in Christ then the Kingdom would be at hand! What a thought that is!

Thanks Scoot.

I would say not all who attend church are in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Likewise, not all the people who lived within Christendom, were in the Kingdom of Heaven either.

God knows who, we just need to think about our own lives, build our relationship with Christ and trust in Him.

The Kingdom of Heaven has the same name on Earth as in Heaven. It’s one continuous space. It’s not separated.

Your last point is very interesting. I’ve been mulling that over for a few years now. Still not sure what I think about that.

It’s an optimistic view at best. I read elsewhere that Christ wouldnt return until evil closed in on the last priest in the last church saying the last Mass.

The jury is certainly still out on whether that lonely last priest had a congregation full of people or not.

Well said on all points--thank you!
